Wells Fargo “Open for Business” Campaign
I worked with Wells Fargo to support Black and minority-owned businesses with the Open for Business campaign as well as acted as their first-ever Artist-Residence throughout the year.
Open Signs
ROXTOGRAPHY
“Open” sign I created for Roxanne Best, the owner of Roxtography, to celebrate women and diverse-owned small businesses. I was inspired by her resiliency as she shifted her photography business to virtual wellness classes to stay open this past year.
CAMP KUPUGANI
Open sign reimagined for @campkupugani, a family-run Black-owned summer camp operating outside of Chicago.
The youth camp reopened this year after being hit hard by the pandemic. When I was learning about Camp Kupugani, I was inspired by their values of excellence, empowerment, community, fun, safety, and environment.
OVERDUE RECOGNITION
Overdue Recognition is an art gallery in Bowie, Maryland that proudly represents over 40 renowned and emerging African American artists, specializing in everything from Originals to Fine Art Reproductions. Overdue Recognition was able to pivot during the pandemic and offer virtual galleries for patrons while continuing to be a hub for African American artists across the country.
UNIVERSAL OPEN SIGN
I created a new universal “Open” for business sign inspired by the perseverance of millions of small business owners who made a way through the pandemic.
