Goody Tru x CVS
Illustration, Creative Direction, Event Planning
Goody Tru is a creative collaboration that honors the vision of some of today’s most compelling multicultural artists while also celebrating individuality and self-expression.
I partnered with Goody to release a collection of 17 hair accessories including clips, hair ties, scarves, headbands, and more. I’m a naturally colorful person so I wanted to bring that energy to this collection in a way that was relatable and easy to wear. A combination of organic shapes and floral illustrations come together to adorn this fun collection.
You can snag the collab in select CVS Stores in the US and on Amazon online.

Leading up to the launch of the collection, I wanted to ensure the imagery told a story instead of just promoting the products. I worked with Neriah McBain and Sarai Garcia to plan two shoots back to back at CoLab Studios. The first shoot was a beauty editorial that emphasized hair as art.

My extremely talented friends, Neriah McBain and Sarai Garcia collaborated to bring my vision to life by creating these custom shapes inspired by the patterns in the collection.
I called in my beautiful friends to model and dressed them in the colors of the collection so everything felt cohesive.
