Logitech Pride

I loved creating this piece for Logitech about Pride. It’s not just a month, it’s 24/7 365! When you think of pride, it can be easy to call upon celebratory references like ballroom, vogueing, and parades that absolutely deserve to be included, but the more I thought about it, I realized those aren’t my connections to my queer identity.

I’m grateful for having grown up around queer family members that modeled how to live openly and authentically, which helped me come into my own sexuality. The little family portrait is based on my own experience growing up with two moms for much of my childhood. That experience normalized queerness for me, resulting in me never feeling like I had to hide that part of myself despite who it might offend. I hope everyone gets to experience that freedom to be their full self, at least some of the time with their community.
